What’s in the Wild x Hello Kitty collection
Two cases in the same print. The refillable deodorant one, and the lip balm one.
Underneath the print it’s the same case Wild have always made. Aluminium, takes the standard 40g refills, so if you already own a Wild case your existing refills go straight into this one. Wind it down, slide the top off, drop the new refill in.
Wild’s new Fresh Apple scent
Fresh Apple is brand new and it’s launched with the Hello Kitty case. It sits at the top of Wild’s scent list now, and it’s the refill paired with the case in all their product shots.
Which makes sense. Hello Kitty is five apples tall (that’s Sanrio’s official measurement, not mine).
It isn’t deodorant only either. Fresh Apple has come out as a lip balm refill at the same time, so you can run the same scent on your lips and your pits if that appeals.
Fresh Apple is classic formula only
Wild’s classic deodorants have baking soda in them. Baking soda is the thing I see people react to most with natural deodorant, and Wild’s sensitive range leaves it out.
Cashmere Rose managed both formulas a fortnight ago. Fresh Apple hasn’t. It’s classic only for now.
So if bicarb doesn’t agree with you, buy the case anyway and put a sensitive refill in it. The sensitive scents on the site at the minute are Coconut & Vanilla, Fresh Cotton & Sea Salt, Coconut & Almond Cream, Cashmere Rose and Wild Seduction, and Wild say to start with Coconut & Vanilla if you’re not sure. The case doesn’t care what’s in it.
My layering picks for Fresh Apple
Lotions and oils first. Victoria’s Secret do a Pink apple body oil and mist, and apple on apple gives you the loud version of it. Summer Fridays Vanilla Body Butter Balm takes the whole thing towards apple pie, and EOS vanilla does the same job for a lot less money. Victoria’s Secret Bare Vanilla as well. Fenty’s Butta Drop in Salted Caramel turns it into a toffee apple, and I’ve been loving the Fenty lotions lately, so its worth knowing the caramel one has come back around if you missed it before.
Then the scent on top. Kayali Eden Juicy Apple 01 if you want more apple, red apple and lychee and blackcurrant sat on a vanilla base. Kilian’s Angels’ Share if the budget stretches, because cognac and praline over apple is delish (it is not a cheap bottle).

A refill is 40g and Wild reckon four to six weeks of daily use out of one. Once you own a case you’re mostly buying refills, unless a print talks you into another one.
Will it sell out?
Probably. The earlier collaborations haven’t all stuck around, Birds and Berries has gone off the site, and a character licence tends to move quicker than a floral. If Hello Kitty is your thing, don’t sit on it.
The formula
98% natural origin ingredients, aluminium free, vegan, Leaping Bunny approved, dermatologically tested, 24 hour odour protection. It’s a deodorant and not an antiperspirant, so it handles odour and leaves sweat alone. The refills are plastic free and compostable.
