My first case was the bee one, sent to me by Wild, and it’s adorable. I’d already been thinking about ordering another one or two in different designs, with different scents, so I could pair them up with my body lotions and perfumes. Then this one appeared.
Now there’s a Dancer Ditsy one next to it.
It’s the new Wild x Cath Kidston print, little ballerinas scattered through red and pink roses on a soft cream case. Very Cath Kidston. It’s arrived with a brand new scent called Cashmere Rose, which is the part I actually care about, and that scent has come out in a sensitive version at the same time, which almost never happens with a limited edition.
The photos here are Wild’s own press shots, because they’ve done a far better job of it than my bathroom lighting is ever going to.
What’s in the Wild x Cath Kidston Dancer Ditsy collection
The Dancer Ditsy case is live on the Wild site now. Underneath the print it’s the same refillable stick deodorant case Wild have always made, so nothing has changed about how it works, and it takes the same 40g refills as the bee one already sat on my shelf.
This isn’t Wild’s first go with Cath Kidston. Marble Ditsy is still on the site. Birds and Berries has gone.
What Wild’s Cashmere Rose smells like
Wild describe Cashmere Rose as rose petals, cashmere musk and tuberose, and they’ve filed it under delicate and soft.
I’ve smelled it now and it’s exactly that. Soft roses and tuberose, doing precisely what the description says it does.
I like layering my body care with my perfume, and this is the sort of soft powdery rose that sits underneath something else rather than arguing with it.
My layering picks for Cashmere Rose
Lotions first. Fresh Rose Morning Body Lotion is a soft rose that won’t shout over the top of it. Sol de Janeiro Rosa Charmosa Dewy Body Cream is the creamier, dewier way to do it. And Victoria’s Secret Velvet Petals Body Lotion is the powdery pink one, which is my favourite layering combo at the minute.
Then the scent on top. The matching Velvet Petals body mist keeps the whole thing in one family, which is what I’d do. Parfums de Marly Delina if you want to go all in on rose. Zara Rose Gourmand is the budget friendly option.
Cashmere Rose comes in a sensitive version too
Wild’s classic deodorants have baking soda in them. Baking soda is the single thing I see people react to most with natural deodorant, and Wild’s sensitive range is made without it.
A limited edition scent normally turns up in the classic formula only. Cashmere Rose has launched as both Cashmere Rose and Sensitive Cashmere Rose on day one, so nobody is locked out of the new one because bicarb doesn’t agree with their skin. Small thing, and it will matter a lot to some people.

A refill is 40g and Wild reckon on four to six weeks of daily use out of one, which lines up with what I get. Once you own a case you’re mostly just buying refills, unless a print like this one talks you into another.
Will it still be there at Christmas?
No idea, but the earlier Cath Kidston prints haven’t all stuck around. Birds and Berries isn’t on the site anymore. If the ballerinas are calling your name I wouldnt leave it too long.
So am I getting one?
I already use the deodorant and I already rate the refills, so a pretty new print was never going to be a hard sell on me.
