Face Masks Club December Box and Coupon Code

Face Masks Club December Box and Coupon Code

My Face Masks Club subscription box review for December – unboxing and barely containing my enthusiasm for sheet masks in general. This box was gifted to me but all opinions are genuinely my own. Use code FMC10 for 10% off your first box at Face Masks Club.

I should tell you upfront that I have a slight sheet mask problem. Not a clinical problem. More of a “I own more sheet masks than any reasonable adult probably needs and I have no intention of cutting back” problem. So when Face Masks Club reached out to send me their December box, I said yes immediately and with very little restraint.

What is Face Masks Club?

Face Masks Club is a sheet mask subscription service that delivers a curated selection of masks – mostly Korean and Asian skincare brands – on a monthly basis. The boxes are mailbox-friendly, which is the kind of practical detail that matters when you’ve got a subscription you’re actually looking forward to. You’re not waiting in all day for a courier. It just arrives.

The selection changes each month and you get a mix of masks from brands you might not have come across otherwise. For anyone who loves K-beauty but finds the sheer volume of options overwhelming (there are so many sheet masks out there), having someone else curate a monthly selection is genuinely useful. It’s also a good way to try things before committing to buying a full pack of something you might not like.

What was in the December box

Watch the video for the full unboxing – I go through each mask individually, what it claims to do, and my first impressions on texture and application. The December box had a nice mix of hydrating and brightening options, which felt appropriate for the time of year when everyone’s skin is crying out for moisture.

A note if you have seb derm or Malassezia-prone skin

I want to flag this because it’s not something subscription box reviews usually mention, and it’s relevant if you’re managing seborrhoeic dermatitis or Malassezia-prone skin (fungal acne). Sheet mask ingredients vary wildly between brands and formulas, and some contain oils or esters that can feed Malassezia and aggravate breakouts or seb derm flares.

This doesn’t mean you can’t use sheet masks – it means it’s worth checking the ingredient list before slapping one on your face and leaving it there for twenty minutes. My seb derm on scalp vs face post covers how I navigate ingredient checking for FA-safe skincare, and the Malassezia safe moisturiser guide is useful context for understanding which ingredient families to look out for.

Is Face Masks Club worth it?

For sheet mask fans, yes. The price point is reasonable for the number of masks you get, the curation is thoughtful, and the mailbox-friendly delivery means it actually works with real life rather than requiring you to rearrange your day. If you want to expand your K-beauty sheet mask range without going down a three-hour rabbit hole on Yesstyle trying to pick individual masks – which I have definitely done, I’m not judging – this is a good shortcut.

FAQ

What is Face Masks Club?

A sheet mask subscription box service that delivers a curated selection of sheet masks from Korean and Asian skincare brands on a monthly basis. Boxes are mailbox-friendly and contain a mix of hydrating, brightening, and treatment masks.

Are sheet masks good for sensitive skin?

Some sheet masks are excellent for sensitive skin and some aren’t – it depends heavily on the ingredients. Look for masks without fragrance, essential oils, or alcohol. Hydrating and calming formulas with ingredients like hyaluronic acid, centella asiatica, or aloe vera are generally the safest choices for reactive skin.

Can I use sheet masks if I have Malassezia or fungal acne?

With caution. Sheet mask ingredients vary widely and some contain oils or esters (like polysorbates, certain fatty acids, or plant oils) that can feed Malassezia and aggravate fungal acne or seborrhoeic dermatitis. Always check the ingredient list before using a new mask if you’re managing Malassezia-related skin conditions.
