Set for a healthy scalp
It’s no big secret that I have a love affair with all things scalp care. Monpure is a cruelty free, luxury hair care and scalp care brand here in the UK that promises to soothe and care for your scalp. I was given the chance to try these products out and here are my initial thoughts after a week or so of use.

Clarifying Scalp Scrub
A gentle and creamy scalp scrub used as a pre-shampoo treatment. Creamy texture, lovely scent, washes out easily, left my scalp feeling refreshed and did a great job buffing away dry flakes.
Strengthening Silk Protein Shampoo
Silky smooth and clean, this shampoo doesn’t foam up very much but cleanses my hair and scalp without leaving it feeling dry and crunchy. Free from parabens and sulphates, uses vegan silk peptides instead of silicones.
Strengthening Essence Conditioner
Applied to both scalp and hair, which I was hesitant about but surprisingly I wasn’t a greaseball. Soft, bouncy hair that felt moisturised and looked great. My hair and scalp felt amazing.
I suffer from a dry scalp and found Head & Shoulders to be far too stripping. My go to now is an Elvive one that I only seem to be able to order online and I’m praying they don’t discontinue it. But if they do, then I might have to try Monpure – I’m so intrigued by a scalp scrub though, I’ve never tried one of those!

I always found the head & shoulders to be pretty drying and stripping on my hair and scalp too! I’ve never tried the Elvive products, I’ll have to see if I can get a hold of any here to give it a try! If you do decide to give Monpure a try I’m sure you’ll love it and the scrub especially, i love scalp scrubs. ?

Glad you enjoyed it! I’m really big on taking care of my scalp (not just because I have alopecia) but I figure it’s the same as skincare for your face, your scalp is skin too and needs as much care and attention as any other part of your body.
I NEED this – I have the flakes at the top/back of my head!!

They’ve been working really well on my flakes and patchy dry areas on my scalp! I think with it being winter my scalp just needs a bit more assistance to keep the flakes and dryness at bay.
I’ve not heard of this brand but it looks so lovely! Love the idea of a scalp scrub, I’ve never tried one before!
