Here’s the detail I think is genuinely worth knowing and almost nobody spells out: it’s every four weeks, not every month. Four-weekly billing means thirteen payments in a year rather than twelve. It’s not a trick, loads of subscriptions work this way, but if you’re the sort of person who budgets by the calendar month then one month a year is going to have two payments in it and you’ll wonder what happened.

You can cancel, pause, push back or bring forward your shipping dates from your account, and they have support articles covering each of those. If you decide it isn’t for you, do it before the next cycle rather than after.

My own experience with Hair + Me

I started at the end of July. That’s it. That’s the whole update so far.

Which means the honest answer to “does it work” is that I have no idea yet, and neither does anybody else who has been on a hair treatment for a matter of days. Hair does not move that fast. Nothing about hair moves that fast. And the honest structural thing, which I’ll say even though I’m the one earning from it: a cheap first month is only a good deal if you actually want month two. Hair treatments don’t work in four weeks, nothing does, so the real question isn’t whether £4.99 is worth it. It’s whether £34.99 every four weeks is something you want to be doing in six months.
