I’ll be honest, the second I saw the photos I wanted one.

It’s mostly skincare, with a hair serum and two lip tints mixed in, and SkinSeoul’s team picked every product themselves.
The box is the bit I can’t stop looking at
As a huge K-drama fan, I absolutely fell in love with the look of this box. Its design comes from the gyeongdae, a traditional Korean vanity. SkinSeoul describe it as a modern take on the vanity Joseon-era princesses would have used, and you can see it in the shape straight away.
It opens up like a little cabinet with the mirror in the lid, so the box keeps a job after December.
Most advent calendars look gorgeous for about four seconds before they turn into a pile of torn flaps, so one you’d want to keep feels like a bonus gift in itself.
The products I’m most excited about
The Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun jumped out at me first, becuase I’ve written about Korean SPF a lot (my Korean sunscreen roundup has the full list) and there’s a full 50ml tube of it in here.
Next on my list are the two VIDIVICI Peptide Butter Tint Balms in Caramel Hug and Heart Peach, 12g each. I’m not great at makeup (I’ve made my peace with it), but a tinted balm is the one thing I genuinely can’t mess up.
Oh, and there’s an unscented ILLIYOON Ceramide Hand Cream in there. I love that. Hand cream is the kind of thing you use every single day in winter and never think to buy for yourself.
Does it matter which product you open first? Honestly, I’m not sure it does with this one. It’s built like a cabinet of treats, so I’d open things whenever I felt like it.
