So Wild made their lip balm tinted.
That’s the news, and I got a bit too excited about it for a 43 year old woman. The regular Wild lip balm already lives in my bag (it’s basically a permanent resident in there) and I reapply it without even thinking. Also, I’m not great at makeup. Like, at all. Lipstick on me needs a mirror and a steady hand, and I can never seem to find both at the same time. A balm with a bit of color in it is about the only lip product I can’t mess up, so a tinted version of the one I already carry everywhere? Yes please.
At a glance
Wild Tinted Lip Balm comes in two shades, Blush Pink and Deep Red, both scented Coconut and Vanilla. It is refillable and goes into Wild’s metal lip balm cases. On Wild’s site on 5 October 2026, packs (case plus refill) started at £8.80, refills at £3.80 each and cases at £5.00, with UK standard delivery at £1.99. Each refill holds 4.5g, which Wild estimate lasts roughly a month. My code NEVEEN takes 20% off at Wild.

Wild tinted lip balm shades: Blush Pink and Deep Red
Two shades. That’s it for now, and I actually like that, because I’d spend twenty minutes dithering over a wall of twelve.
Blush Pink is the easy everyday one according to Wild, a rosy tint you can keep slapping on through the day. Deep Red is the bold one. Both are buildable, so a single swipe gives you a hint of color and you keep going if you want more depth.

Which one would I go for? I’d definately grab Blush Pink first, because a rosy tint is about my skill level. Deep Red looks gorgeous in the photos, but red on my lips feels like a commitment and I’m a bit of a coward.
What’s in Wild tinted lip balm?
The two headline ingredients are jojoba seed oil and hyaluronic acid. Underneath those there’s mango seed butter, shea butter, avocado oil and coconut oil, and Wild’s copy mentions cocoa butter too. There’s no beeswax, so it’s vegan, and it’s approved by both Leaping Bunny and the Vegan Society.
The formula is clinically proven to moisturize and hydrate (Wild’s words) and it’s meant to be non-drying. That second part is what I care about most, because a tinted balm that leaves your lips feeling like paper isn’t really a balm, is it?

One thing worth knowing – I couldn’t find an SPF listed anywhere on the tinted balm page, so I wouldn’t count on it for sun.
Does it fit the Wild lip balm cases?
The tinted balm comes with the same lineup of metal cases as the regular one. Right now that includes Dancing Skeletons, Hello Kitty, Miffy, Disney Winnie the Pooh, Polka Dot, Sage and the Bee case, plus a few floral prints. You can engrave a case with up to 8 characters, which is handy if your lip balm keeps wandering off to other people’s bags.
My lip balm is in the Bee case (Wild sent me that one) and I do have one question about it. Will the tinted refills slot straight in? They’re sold with the exact same cases, so I’d be surprised if not, but I haven’t seen Wild say it in so many words.
You refill it the same way as the regular balm. Pop the lid off, twist all the way up, drop the new refill in the top, then twist it back down into place.
