The bits I’m most excited about
The glowy stuff. I’m a satin-finish girl through and through, so the Unreal Blush stick and the Beauty Light Wand are right in my lane. The blush is a swipe-and-tap job, which is exactly my skill level. I already own a few Charlotte Tilbury blushes and I love them, so a full-size Rosy Glow feels like a very safe bet.
The Magic Cream mini. Magic Cream is one of Charlotte Tilbury’s most popular products (around 27,000 people search for it on Google every month in the UK alone). A 15ml jar is a lovely way to try it without committing to a full pot.
The Pillow Talk Medium lip set. Charlotte basically built a whole lip look into this calendar. You get the Matte Revolution lipstick, the matching Lip Cheat liner, the Lip Cheat Contour Duo and the Nudegasm Diamonds gloss, and Charlotte Tilbury says they’re meant to be worn together. Then there’s the Pillow Talk makeup bag to keep them all in. It has a little keychain too (so it doubles as a bag charm, which is very cute).
Will I actually learn to contour my lips with that duo? Honestly, I don’t know. Overlining feels like a skill for people with steadier hands than mine. But it’s full size, so I’d have all winter to practice.
Then there’s the gua sha. It’s shaped like a pout. Charlotte Tilbury suggests using it to smooth in your Magic Cream, serum or facial oil, which is handy, since all three are in the calendar.
Who I’d buy the Charlotte Tilbury advent calendar for
If Charlotte Tilbury is already your brand, this is the advent calendar I’d pick for you this year. The whole thing leans into Pillow Talk and glow, so anyone who wears that look will use pretty much everything in it.
It’s also a lovely gift for anyone who likes nice things on their dresser. There are twelve drawers rather than twenty-four, which suits me fine, because twelve little treats feel easier to savor than a door a day.
