Friends of Lush is Lush’s own programme for people who talk about the brand. It runs on Lush’s own site, at friends.lush.com, rather than through an outside affiliate network, and it has two sides to it that are really easy to muddle up. Most of the confusion I see comes from people assuming it’s one thing when it’s actually two.

The first side is the shopper side, and that’s what most people land on this page for. Someone already in the programme (me, in this case) has a personal link. You click it, you shop at Lush UK as normal, and whatever promotion Lush is running through the programme at the time gets applied to your order. Right now that’s the free Magic Crystals Shower Scrub on home delivery orders of £15 or more. You don’t join anything, you don’t create an account with the programme, and there’s no code – you just have to click through before you start shopping.
